The role of the combiner box is to bring the output of several solar strings together. Each string conductor lands on a fuse terminal and the output of the fused inputs are combined onto a single conductor that connects the box to the inverter.

Our two-in-one box integrates the functions of both the DC combiner box and the AC distribution box. The DC part consists of the actual DC solar disconnector and DC fuses, while the AC part is equipped with a residual current circuit breaker and an AC surge protector to prevent overvoltage and overcurrent. In a durable package, pre-assembled reliable DC and AC components would reduce labor time and error susceptibility, thereby greatly improving system operation for end users. The AC circuit breaker and AC surge protector on the AC side, providing surge protection and isolation on the solar DC side, this design performs the function of DC and AC protection perfectly at the same time.
